hours but we really didn't feel up to it - wonder why??  Ran with Sandy and Danish John  - despite Andreas concern about Johns heart condition!  Great company for a long run.  Returned for a well deserved dunk in the pool and an even more deserved mega breakfast, although Andreas Waitrose museli is rapidly being depleted.

Walked up beach to Oust L'Aqua - Omelette lunch  - oh forgot the post long run slumber by the pool.  Andrea fidgeted until an agreement to purchase Magnums was obtained!  Returned to Falesia for a spot of shopping.  By this stage fatigue and delayed hangovers set in.  Baths revived us ready for a final night on the town.  Plan B was put into action as first chosen bars were either closed or out of beer, so finally settled in Bar Neptune followed by Pizza Place. Almond cake is in short supply so Wendy, Sarah and Andrea are forced to indulge in pancakes and ice cream. We then retire to the local bar near our hotel.

Sunday 18th.  Sadly our last day.  Wave goodbye to Sarah at 8am. A last fantastic run along the cliffs. Wendy then suggests a circuit session - great idea!! Not.  Seriously, it was a good session.  Another mega breakfast followed by packing at break-neck speed.  Weather not great so take car half way to Villamoura, walk round and stop for  sardines at the marina.  Back to Alfa Mar for farewells. Wendy does a truly admirable drive to the airport - greeted by a very cute, smiley Portuguese parking man.
