Marathon Training
Monday dawns, what a relief. No training today, should we really have eaten that roast beef? Tuesday now and the week really kick-starts, I never realised that running makes you f…! Wednesday could this be a gentle day. Thursday quite hard, and the weekend's on the way. Friday, oh joy, a few glasses of red! Saturday, hills beckon, must I really get out of my bed? Sunday, up early, we must do those miles, It can be a laugh and we do get some smiles. No one said it was easy, can't say it's been bad. Really, there's no better fun, to be had!

Social Report
We have been slacking a bit lately, on the drinking front that is, but training for a marathon does take over a bit! However my plan of NOT drinking for a month before Paris has failed. There's just two many good reasons to drink/eat etc. (I fear some of the eating will have to stop after Paris). We are hoping to have a get together soon, maybe after London, does anyone have strong ideas about a different venue to the Surrey Cricketers for the next one? We are planning a walk/cycle to a good pub ( and back) any ideas on routes welcome - Ginni or Phil.
