Chairman – Barry Andrews welcomed everybody to the 15th
AGM of the Club.

A letter had been received from Jean Heywood announcing her resignation
from the position of Vice President, Jean thanked the club for it’s
friendship over recent years.
Minutes of the last AGM – Read by the secretary and agreed
Accounts – Jonathan Vickery distributed copies of the accounts and
outlined a number of points. This year there was an excess of income over
expenditure of £390.65. Mainly due to the donation for mat laying at the
London Marathon. The men’s clothing levels were to be topped up soon, ladies
clothing stock was OK. Affiliation fees had been paid £180 to SEAA. Events
during the year had enabled the club to donate £448 to charity. The club
presentation evening had been a great success with 73 tickets sold. The net
worth of the club at 31st August 2004 was £1,947.04. Jon was
thanked for his work as Treasurer
Election of Committee –Barry Andrews read out the list of committee
members who were seeking re-election.

Proposals by members – none
Captains report (Tony Sheridan) Tony mentioned a few PB’s that had
been achieved during the year, and that he felt that many members can
contributed to the successful running of the club. He had been disappointed
that the club had been unable to participate in the River Relay.
Barry mentioned the latest membership figures (supplied by Phil)
125 members, 106 with Email, average age 47.7!
Phil had asked members to send him ‘mini’ reports of any events
that they had attended to put on the club website
Pam asked members to consider volunteering for the ‘mat laying’
again at next years London Marathon, Pam would like numbers before the
end of October!
Chris Lovell asked about the closure of the ‘loo’ at the field
pavilion, Barry would ask Bob to enquire
Kevin mentioned that the ‘last run of the year’ would be in 2005!
On the Sunday 2nd January, as the last Sunday of 2004 was
Boxing Day. We may link up with other Windlesham residents for a
walk/run event.
Richard Gurd was congratulated on his recent London to Brighton
time and asked to consider an article for the next newsletter.
