Well done lads and ladies on a great turn out for the Wokingham half today.
Despite the dull , damp and in parts windy conditions - in all 21 WVR
completed the course. Our position ( Chris Peppiatt and myself) at the
Bullfinch Pub was an ideal place to see the runners going out at approx 2
miles and then on their return at 11 miles.( They also do a nice cup of
coffee -- at 12 noon could have done with it earlier but never mind eh? )

First WVR to pass us both times was Rob looking strong but quote- 'Hurting'!

Dave West followed next looking cool- with ever smiling Keith behind -
closely followed by our Wendy then Amanda ( long time no see). Colin and
Chris Lovell were almost neck and neck at 2 miles and 11miles -- how did
they finish I wonder?
Barry, Richard,Tony, Michael and Les followed in that order and again
looking good -see guess who photo!

Birthday girl Mary and Dave Pearce came next - see photo! Ginni looking and
feeling stronger than she did last week was close behind . Well done to
Marie and Karen on a brilliant run too. John breezed by closely followed by
Janice and Angela looking good . Last but not least came Ed Condon- another
long time no see!

Everyone appeared to finish with a smile , hope all that are doing the
Paris and London continue to clock up the miles and remain injury free--
commiserations to Phil who had to pull out of today's run due to a Knee
problem - hope all is well now Phil.
Thanks to Mary and Michael for the great birthday lunch that followed the
run hope you had a Happy Birthday Mary!
