The weather this year was very similar to last year, in that rain was in the air. Luckily it held off until the latter part of the race, and the ground was not as muddy as last year.

Once again Windle Valley Runners fielded a good team. The hills seemed steeper, and the course seemed longer than last year, but that could be an indication of your correspondent's general state of fitness and advancing years, rather than the course designer's efforts!
